Instructions for the installation of drinking fountains in public areas

  1. Notification of the construction work in accordance with § 13 Para. 1 of the Drinking Water Ordinance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt dated 21 May 2001 to the Office for Health and Consumer Protection of the Landkreis Börde in Haldensleben, Bornsche Str. 2, within 4 weeks with a brief description of the construction work.
  2. Installation by a specialist company approved in accordance with DVGW Deutsche Vereinigung des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V., technical-scientific association, worksheet W 200.
  3. Execution of the construction work in accordance with DIN 2001-1 and 1988-4, i.e. installation of safety fittings to prevent back contamination of the central drinking water network.
  4. The drinking water test for the release of the drinking fountain is carried out by the responsible office for health and consumer protection of the district.
